Soldiers of Halla Randomness

Here you go folks, some of the random things I drew while reading the book. Boy, where does my mind go sometimes? It's hard for even me to keep up!

1. The penguin. God bless that penguin! I figured since there was a war and bombs going off he should be a WAR PENGUIN!

2. How I would love to have my shoulder devil/angel be Saint Dane. This is what I pictured when Uncle Press was explaining the spirits that are the Travelers to Bobby and he compared them to guardian angels.

3. Okay, so the crowd was shouting "Crush! Crush! Crush!" when SD was making his big speech to the Ravinians. So then I thought of the orange drink Crush. Surge... well, it would obviously be Crush's rival.

4. Ha ha, I loved the part in the end where Saint Dane called humans lambs. I thought it was cute. It made me think of this and Asaba from Kare Kano

5. I like how Mark is the one serious drawing in this. I wanted to draw him now that he's all grown up and sexy (and my age, woohoo)! Minus the stubble/beard of course, because that's just not sexy.

6. Spader cracked me up in the one part where he said, "We're real, see? Aaah!" and wriggles his tongue. I just thought it was so cute!

7. SD admires his youthful, smexy, new look. The song just fits.

8. My retake on the Pledge of Allegiance adapted to Ravinia. I think SD said something about allegiance to Ravinia and my mind made this up.

9. Lafire reminded me that the exiles on Cloral are still waiting in that sub. That made me laugh really hard. I could just see Bobby, "I feel like I'm forgetting something!" Uh, yeah, the other 8 territories!

10. And lastly the TRUE ending to this book. Yup, Saint Dane didn't die, he just got really bad boo-boos. He just needed some band-aids and some tender loving care
