Event #1: Good grades so far. My class (ha ha, only one this semester) is going well with top grades. Huzzah! And I'm actually learning stuff!
Event #2: Happy Halloween!! I had a great time this year parading around as Ciel in a pink dress. I loved it!
Event #3: The Library levy passed! Whew! This was causing me great amounts of stress and anxiety since our county library system REALLY needed this levy. If not 200+ jobs would be cut, hours, books, etc. I even made a backup plan to move to Japan and teach English if I lost my job. But no need! We won by a landslide!
Event #4: I'M FINALLY DATING AGAIN!!! Ahhh, this has to be the best event, too. It's been... 3 or 4 years since I broke up with Jon and I am very happy to have a boyfriend again. Okay, don't laugh, I met him on the online dating site Geek2Geek. Turns out he lives 10 minutes from my house, loves Doctor Who, video games, and is well on his way to becoming a big anime fan. I do not lie when I say he looks a LOT like David Tennant. No, I kid you not. He cosplays as the 10th Doctor and heads turn. I'm so happy to find my own Doctor!
So, less arts but a better life. I try to draw when I can but I've been getting a lot of reading and gaming done lately. Oooh, our library has a great book series to all you artists out there. Look up "Comic Artist's Photo Reference" or any of the Artist Photo Reference guides. They are AWESOME! Once you get past giggling at the pasty men in tight, boxer shorts you will find that they are full of very useful poses, perspectives and shadings. They also come with a CD with 1000 reference images so you can put them right on your computer! Check them out. They're really useful!
Hope everyone else is doing great! How are you all? Please stay with me and be patient. I promise to still draw when I can!

Thought it was pretty good and you would like it!

From "Art & Fear" talking about artists who break away...
"Nature places a simple constraint on those who leave the flock to go their own way: they get eaten."
